英文裡在回答別人的問題時, 一般都會用代名詞和所有格
比如人家問你: What is Tom’s phone number?
很少有人會說 Tom’s phone number is…
而會說 His phone number is…
如果問 Where do your parents live?
也比較會用代名詞回答 They live in…
而比較少說 My parents live in…
人家如果問: Do you like apples?
也要用受格的代名詞回答 Yes, I like them. / No, I don’t like them.
會比用 Yes, I like apples. 順耳些
當然, 不用代名詞或所有格也並不是錯誤的
只是沒必要, 不自然, 不是道地的說法
