倍數的表示法有三種
一種是: twice / ___ times + as + 形容詞 + as…
但是三倍以上也可用: ____ times + 比較級形容詞 + than…
比如: This house is twice as big as that one.
This diamond is three times as big as that one.
= This diamond is three times bigger than that one.
This question is ten times as hard as that one.
= This question is ten times harder than that one.
第二種是: twice / ____ times + the + 名詞 (+ of…)
比如: This road is twice the length of that road.
They bought the house at three times the normal price.
第三種是: twice / ____ times + as + much / many + 名詞 + as…
比如: He has twice as much money as me.
They hired three times as many workers as they usually do to finish the job.

(3) There are five times as many men here as women. (here 也可放句尾)
= The number of men here is five times greater than that (=the number) of women.
