它指的是像大富翁等有預先設計好的紙板和一套規則的桌上遊戲
簡單的「井字遊戲」(圈圈叉叉，英文叫Tic-tac-toe)也算
「桌遊」有另一說法是 tabletop game
包含的範圍比較廣，可以是簡單的骰子遊戲或紙牌遊戲，也可以指大富翁等較複雜的紙上遊戲
要注意的是不要直譯為 table game
因為那一般是指賭場裡的21點等要靠桌玩的牌戲(相對於吃角子老虎等)
還有像大富翁Monopoly等遊戲名稱一般第一個字母要大寫
(註：monopoly唸作[məˋnɑpli]，平時是「壟斷事業」的意思)
