我相信有人已經開玩笑地把 ”踹共” 兩字照字面翻成 kick the communist (踢共產黨) 了
不過要真的把它翻成英文, 當然不是這樣講
先解釋這兩個字給不知道的人聽吧~
”踹共” 是最近台灣很常聽到的流行語
它是從台語的 ”出來講” 三個字講得很快時的發音演變而來的
它指的是要某人公開說明自己的行為 (通常是惡行)
叫此人出來把事情講清楚的意思
在英文裡, 若要找一個最接近的說法
應該是用 justify oneself (yourself, himself ...)
或是 justify one’s (your, his, her…) actions
justify 這個動詞就是指做出合理, 能令人信服的解釋
比如:
