”裝死” 在英文裡的講法就是 play dead
play 在此是 ”假裝, 扮演” 的意思, 後面就直接接形容詞
像 ”裝病” 也是用 play sick 這個說法
不過有時中文裡的 ”裝...” 是用 act 這個字
像是 ”裝闊” 叫 act rich, “裝窮” 就是 act poor
”裝笨” 則可以用 play stupid 或 act stupid (口語中也常把 stupid 換成 dumb)
例:
這種情況就不能真的用 play dead 來直譯
而要用動詞的 ignore [ɪgˋnor] , 指忽視, 不理會
比如:

比如老板叫員工做事, 但員工不太想做所以根本不動的 ”裝死”
也並不是給老板臉色看, 只是裝做沒聽見
