也可以把 center 換成 facility [fəˋsɪlətɪ] (在此指 ”場所”)
post- 這個字首就是代表 ”在......之後的” (相反的是 pre- “在......之前的”)
natal 是指 ”出生時的” , 是站在嬰兒角度的一個字
partum 這個部份則原本是拉丁文, 指 childbirth (孩子的出世)
是站在媽媽的角度講的一個字
像 ”產後憂鬱症” 就是叫 postpartum depression (P.P.D.) 比較多
因為主要是媽媽憂鬱而不是小孩憂鬱
