我們台灣講的「賓士貓」，是指身上是黑色，但從兩眼中間或嘴巴到腹部是白色的貓
這種貓其實蠻常見的
但英文可不是叫 Mercedes cat 或 Benz cat 哦
我們叫牠「賓士貓」是因為覺得牠臉部白色的部份很像賓士車的標誌
但是在英文裡有個很可愛的稱呼：tuxedo cat 「燕尾服貓」
(註：tuxedo [tʌkˋsido] )
當然是因為牠們黑白的毛色看起來像穿了燕尾服
是不是很可愛呢？
