裡面有句話說得很棒: Parents are the bones on which children sharpen their teeth. 字面上的意思是: 父母是孩子用來磨牙齒的骨頭
在中文字幕裡譯為: 孩子是生來折磨父母的
這和我們中文裡常說的: “孩子是來向父母討債的” 意思也差不多
當然你也可以把中文這句直譯為 Children are born to collect debts from their parents.
但是老外如果不知道所謂的債是在假設有 ”前世” 的情況下所欠的
可能就會聽不懂了
