Bored and boring are two adjectives derived from the same word. These pairs of adjectives are formed from verbs that mean 'to make someone feel...' In the case of bored and boring, they are derived from the verb 'bore.' Bore means 'to make someone feel uninterested' which has no equivalent in Chinese.
