bust [bʌst] 這個字原本是動詞, 有 ”把...弄壞”, “逮捕” 等意思
口語中常對別人喊的 “Busted!” 是指 ”逮到你了!”
就像台灣流行中文裡說的 ”吼~ 被抓到囉!”
是逮到別人做不該做的事時的玩笑話
比如朋友要減肥, 你卻逮到她偷吃巧克力, 就可以對她說: Busted!
也可以用在整句話裡, 像: Jack is so busted.
意思是說 Jack 因為做了不該做的事, 被人家發現了, 這次會很慘
再造個句: Mike is so busted this time. The boss caught him stealing money.

不過 busted 這個字也可以用來講一個東西壞掉了
所以就是 broken 的意思
